千葉工業大学 東京スカイツリーキャンパス (ソラマチ 8階) にて、AI に関する新しい展示をスタートしました。
本展示では、バラの品種を判別できる AI アプリ「バラノナ」を体験いただけます。
バラノナは、バラの名前を教えてくれるAI (人工知能) の展示です。
展示空間には、3Dで再現されたバラが映し出された4つの大きなスクリーンが設置されています。
スクリーンに映るバラをタブレットのカメラで撮ると、AIがリアルタイムに画像を解析し、そのバラの品種名を画面に表示します。
バラは世界で3万種類以上あるといわれ、見分けるのがとても難しい花です。
バラノナのAIは、神代植物公園と旧古河庭園で撮影された約7万枚の写真を使って学習されており、現在は約400種類のバラを識別できます。

また、本展示では、これまでご好評いただいていた花の名前判定アプリ「ハナノナ」も引き続きお楽しみいただけます。
本展示はどなたでも体験可能で、お子さまから大人まで幅広くお楽しみいただけます。
開館時間は10:00～18:00で、全ての展示は無料で体験できます。

A new AI exhibition has opened at Chiba Institute of Technology, Tokyo Skytree Campus (Tokyo Solamachi, 8th Floor).
In this exhibition, visitors can experience baranona, an AI app that identifies rose varieties.
baranona is an interactive exhibition where an AI helps you learn the names of roses.
The exhibition space features four large screens displaying beautifully reconstructed 3D roses.
By pointing a tablet camera at a rose on the screen, the AI instantly analyzes the image and displays the name of the rose variety.
There are more than 30,000 rose varieties worldwide, making them difficult to distinguish even for experts. The baranona AI was trained on approximately 70,000 rose images photographed at Jindai Botanical Gardens and Kyu-Furukawa Gardens, and it can currently recognize around 400 different rose varieties.

In addition, visitors can continue to enjoy hananona, a popular app that identifies flower names, which has been well received in previous exhibitions.
This exhibition is open to everyone and can be enjoyed by visitors of all ages, from children to adults.
Opening hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and all exhibits are free to experience.
